Assendelft Lodge & Bush Camp is owned & run by Piet & Ruth Gouws, with the help of their daughter, Samantha, and son-in-law, Juan.  Originally from Paarl, Piet & Ruth relocated in search of a slower pace of life, & to enjoy the quiet & tranquillity which the Karoo has to offer.

Assendelft provides the perfect Karoo escape from the hustle & bustle of everyday life, whether it’s an overnight stop as you travel along the N1, or a longer stay.
